Studio 55C hosts classes, workshops and training in Moving for Life, BodyMind Dancing, Dynamic Embodiment, The Nia Technique and Vinyasa Yoga, and offers healing and restorative practices such as Reiki and Relaxation + Meditation.

Developmental Infant/Toddler Check-ins
Working with parents and their infants/toddlers, we combine the use of the senses with movement to affect behavior and feelings and improve balance, communication and coordination.
A series of flowing asanas taught with attention to precision and alignment.
A somatic experience of anatomical gems and pleasurable dancing woven with improvisational structures and follow-along phrases.
The Nia Technique is a barefoot, conscious movement practice that
combines moves from dance, martial arts and healing arts.
Moving For Life
Through accessible instruction, class members can learn the anatomical and exercise knowledge to take control of their post-treatment healing and become as active as possible.
A form of somatic education and movement therapy that integrates skilled touch, movement, & compassionate dialogue to help people of all ages and abilities to relieve their own stress, find enhanced expressiveness, and balance all aspects of the body and psyche. Instructor Training Information
Other offerings include Relaxation + Meditation, Mommy and Me, Arts Days for children with Special Needs, Movement for Graceful Aging and Recovery from Injury or Illness, and Open Clinic Days with focuses on anxiety, fatigue, neck, knee, shoulder etc.
Our 1200sq/ft (46×24) studio is filled with natural light and features sprung Harlequin floors, exposed brick, ballet barres and an en studio bathroom behind the mirrors. It is in a storefront, and is wheelchair accessible.
The space is available for rental for single events, on-going rentals, and/or as a collective member.
