Partake in an herbal tasting journey and a discussion about the folklore and historic uses for an array of medicinal roots, tubers, and bulbs that had been used in Ancient Greece, Egypt, and still continue to be used in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, and Latin America.

Jocelyn Perez-Blanco is a local herbalist, Flower Essence Therapist, Essential Oil Coach, and avid gardener with a background in Animal Husbandry and Agriculture. Jocelyn routinely offers free nature and plant identification walks at local parks and green spaces, and her lectures focus on blending the spiritual aspects of herbs with the science behind how they work. She is also the Organizer of the Herbalist MeetUp Group of New York, and the Coordinator for the Herbalists Without Borders NYC Queens Chapter, which is now part of the NY Herbal Response Network.
