Since 1981 Martha Eddy has been finding connections between Laban’s Effort Dynamics and the Body Systems of Body-Mind Centering©, publishing the article “The Physiological Underpinnings of Effort.” Experience balancing the Nervous System with access to Fluids and Glands in order to activate Muscles with Organ support and Skeletal leverage for taking clear and powerful action. Journey somatically through the body systems, discovering how to initiate movement from each system and feeling how each system represents different qualities of movement. Understand how these systems influence movement dynamics and health. Know your body in a whole new way, through exercises utilizing breath, sound, touch and movement that reinforce calmness, flow and power.
